Sam joined Ideal Commercials in 2022 to manage our Workshop Facilities, working alongside Peter to prepare vehicles for handover to Customers.  Sam is an experienced Technician, and has put down his tools to come into the office roll, although you will still find him with his sleeves rolled up when needed.  Sam also deals with all aftersales/warranty queries, and has a vast technical knowledge.  Outside of work, Sam has a young family, and enjoys Sports and Being Outside. &nb...

Sheena joined Ideal Commercials in 2023 to manage our accounts department, and vehicle administration.  Sheena has a wealth of experience behind her, and is a welcome addition.  If you ever need paying, it's Sheena you'll be dealing with.  

Mark joined Ideal Commercials in the tail end of 2021 to assist in the day to day operations of our growing business.  After 43 years in the Motor Trade, running large franchised dealerships Mark retired and was persuaded to come and help with operations at Ideal by his son Louis, our Salesman.  You will meet Mark in the offices, around the forecourts, and he will be happy to assist you and answer questions where he can.

Andy Lane – Managing Director Andy Lane is the founder and owner of Ideal Commercials Ltd.  With a history in vehicle maintenance Andy started trading in Commercial Vehicles in the year 2000 and hasn’t looked back.  In what little spare time Andy has away from Ideal he enjoys National Hot Rod Racing and watching a wide variety of other motorsport....

Louis Dinneen – Sales Executive Louis commenced working for Ideal Commercials in July 2013 with a background in car sales and quickly fell in love with commercial vehicles. His knowledge is up there with the best, ensuring he can find the vehicle to suit your needs.  As a family man Louis spends time with his wife and three children outside of work and has a passion for Land Rovers.   ...

Peter – Technician Pete joined Ideal Commercials in 2017, as our sole technician.  An old school friend of Andy’s, Pete has over 30 years’ experience, and is highly respected.  He makes sure that every vehicle that leaves us has been through the workshop and thoroughly checked.  Pete is a fully qualified MOT tester which means you can rest assured your vehicle is safe and roadworthy. ...

Barry – Valeter Barry became part of the Ideal Commercials team in 2015 with a background in commercial vehicle preparation. Barry is responsible for the high standard of presentation of our vehicles and prides himself on the finish and quality of product he presents to our customers.  Barry is a family man and spends time outside of work with his two daughters. ...

Wayne - Valeter Wayne joined Ideal Commercials in 2019 in the position of Valeter, and is key to the high standards of preparation of our vehicles. With years of experience, he is an ideal candidate to ensure your vehicle is right.  Outside of work Wayne spends time with his family and children, and has a keen passion for Motorsport

Ben Styles – Coachbuilding Ben started work for Ideal Commercials in 2006 as an apprentice mechanic, worked his way through the business, and now works solely for the coachbuilding side of the business, Ideal Engineering. The beautifully fabricated tipping bodies and dropsides you will find newly fitted to our vehicles are Ben’s responsibility.
